Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair est écrit et produit par Linwood Boomer, le créateur de la série originale. Cette nouvelle histoire suit Malcolm, qui, après s’être tenu à l’écart de sa famille pendant plus de dix ans, se retrouve contraint de replonger dans leur univers chaotique lorsque Hal et Lois exigent sa présence pour célébrer leur 40ᵉ anniversaire de mariage.
